Hi, I’m Ana! Welcome to my managing company: Viva OBM.  I’m 44 years old, have 3 kids, one dog and a cat. Besides hanging out with my kiddos, I love being active, road trips, traveling, crafting, horse-back-riding, coffee, and I miss the beach and mountains back home terribly.  

My career path has been anything but ordinary. I moved from Costa Rica (bilingual OBM here!) to Texas in 2016 with my family. Back home I was a preschool teacher for many years, and after having my second child, I embarked in a series of businesses ranging from a play-cafe to an online virtual garage sale (way before FB Marketplace), to an entrepreneur hub with a small shop, work spaces and an amazing backyard for events, in an beautiful old house— ultimately focusing in El Mercadito for almost 10 years until COVID hit. El Mercadito, a marketplace/craft fair that happened about once a month in different spaces around the city, led me to work with hundreds of entrepreneurs. With these businesses I grew my skillset in ways I didn’t know possible, and because of it, I understand the need there is to have someone to bounce ideas off of, someone to laugh and to sometimes cry a little with, and how valuable it is to have someone who wants to create impact in your business with you. I’m not going to just work for you, I’ll do it alongside you.

Today I have a graphic design degree from ACC, and after working as a sub and 5th grade teacher for some years (talk about multi tasking and making a bazillion decisions at once!), while pondering what to do next, becoming an OBM just seemed like the perfect way to continue my journey. I’m excited to learn and grow from others, and to be able to help businesses prosper. My motto: Simplify, delegate, thrive.
